A Lifetime of Learning, Questioning and Discovery
Anna describes her relationship with Spirit as a calling that has been present throughout her life.
She has studied with numerous teachers and explored many traditions, disciplines and approaches to consciousness. Some of her most profound teachers have also been the Beings and higher intelligences with whom she has connected through meditation and through the work of other trance channels.
Her approach is one of continual enquiry. She studies, questions, observes, applies and tests. She has learned from teachers whose teachings she later questioned or refuted, always following the deeper call to explore new frontiers of understanding.
For Anna, knowledge becomes meaningful through direct experience. She recognises truth through inner resonance and through the way understanding reveals itself when brought into real life.
This principle is central to her teaching. She encourages each person to develop their own relationship with inner knowing, learning to recognise the subtle language of intuition and to bring it into conscious relationship with reason, experience and discernment.
Her own learning has developed through decades of watching closely, reading and mapping energy, recognising patterns and applying intuitive perception to the practical realities of human life.
This combination of spiritual enquiry and real world application is at the heart of her work.

From Corporate Strategy to Human Transformation
Anna's professional life began in the corporate world.
Born and raised in Hong Kong of Chinese Welsh parentage, she grew up in one of the world's great multicultural crossroads. This gave her a natural sensitivity to different cultures, perspectives and ways of communicating, qualities that became defining features of both her corporate career and her later work.
Her international career spans more than four decades and more than 40 countries.
She has held senior roles and worked with organisations including Reuters, Société Générale, Price Waterhouse, Hill & Knowlton and Action International Public Relations, working across corporate identity, strategic communications, brand management, crisis communications, marketing, organisational change and multidisciplinary team integration.
She has worked with senior leaders and complex stakeholder environments, led communications and change programmes and advised organisations operating across different cultures and markets.
She learned early that organisations, like people, operate through far more than their stated strategies. Behind every decision are people, and behind people are emotions, histories, ambitions, relationships, identities and beliefs.
Understanding that larger picture became one of the threads connecting Anna's corporate career with the work that followed.

A Life Lived as Well as a Life Studied
Anna has lived a full and demanding life alongside her professional and spiritual journey.
She was a Hong Kong representative sportswoman, a long serving international hockey player, squad captain and sports administrator. These experiences developed her understanding of discipline, leadership, teamwork, resilience and high performance.
She simultaneously built a senior international career while raising two children.
She has been married to Ken Hughes for nearly 50 years.
Raised in Kenya, Ken built an international career in banking before becoming an investment adviser. Together they have created a marriage founded on partnership, friendship, respect, love, humour and mutual support. They have raised a family, navigated major changes together and remained a profound source of strength and encouragement to one another.
Their marriage is part of the life Anna lives and the wisdom she teaches.
For Anna, all of Life is Relationship.
Our relationship with ourselves, with those we love, with family, with work and money, with our bodies, with the world around us and with Spirit all form part of the same living web.
Successful Relationships are therefore a central part of Anna's teachings. She explores how we can bring greater consciousness, understanding, love, responsibility and joy into the relationships that shape our lives.

The Experiences That Changed the Direction of Life
Anna's life has brought profound challenges, transitions and opportunities for transformation.
In her forties, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The experience became a catalyst for examining deeply held assumptions around illness, identity, healing and personal responsibility and opened an even deeper chapter of exploration into consciousness and the nature of healing.
Years later, Anna and her children were found to carry the BRCA2 gene variant, bringing another dimension of awareness, responsibility and family experience.
These experiences form part of a much larger life story.
Anna's understanding has been shaped by marriage, motherhood, professional achievement, international life, family responsibility, health challenges, relocation, starting again, spiritual exploration and more than four decades of working directly with people.
Her life has given her an intimate understanding of the moments when people are called to look again at who they are, what they value and where they are going.
She teaches from lived experience.
She lives what she teaches.

Over time, Anna's corporate experience and spiritual work began to converge.

Master Healer and Teacher
Anna has spent decades working privately as a healer, intuitive and teacher and has worked internationally within some of the world's most respected wellness environments.
Her association with Kamalaya Koh Samui began during the early years following its opening and continued for many years through to the Covid period. During this time, people travelled specifically to work with Anna after discovering her work there. She also conducted specialist retreats at Kamalaya, presented as Anna's retreats hosted at the resort.
She also worked with Chiva Som during the later 2000s through to the Covid period and has subsequently been invited to return. Her international work has additionally included Four Seasons Koh Samui.
Alongside this institutional work, Anna has continued her private practice, teaching and specialist work internationally.
Her approach to healing is centred on helping each person return to their own centre, recognise their own inner intelligence and develop the awareness required to navigate life with increasing clarity, responsibility and freedom.

A new chapter is now opening.
Anna's teachings have evolved across many decades, through countless students, private clients, retreats, circles, conversations, experiences and discoveries. The new website is being created as a living home for this body of work and as a beacon of light for Seekers of Truth wherever they may be in the world.
The new space will gather and preserve Anna's teachings across the decades while creating room for new teachings to emerge. It will become a repository of wisdom, experience and practical understanding, allowing people to enter the work at different points and continue as deeply as they wish.
Alongside the teachings, the new space will nurture a continuing community of Spirit, bringing together curious and committed people who are exploring consciousness, love, relationships, personal mastery and the deeper mysteries of Life.
Some will come seeking a particular answer. Others will feel the call to study more deeply. Some will enter a programme, join a circle or retreat, or follow a teaching that opens another door within them.

Trance channeling is a specialised part of Anna's work and is approached with respect, preparation and discernment.
Anna is a channel for a Being known as The Nazareine, whose guidance has been sought in relation to personal, spiritual and business questions.
This work is entered through invitation and appropriate energetic alignment. Those who are called into it experience a specialised form of spiritual guidance held with humility, humour, love and respect.
